My first time in and I will definitely be back! The focaccia was fresh and delicious. I got the prosciutto sandwich with a tomato mozzarella focaccia round to go. The lattes are huge, I got the cafe la bella. Everything came out quick, and the staff was super helpful. I love the vibe too, they were playing a Cat Power song when I was there. Don’t be intimidated by the ingredients in Italian, ask for info! :)
The focaccia here is delightful and comforting. Upscale ambiance. Quick and polite service. Sandwiches, canoli and coffee were great. Parking is limited. There is an outdoor seating area. All the tables inside have high chairs. Their 'grocery' section has a good selection of items you can take home and enjoy. They have a fancy tap for drinking water and their napkins are thick. You can tell a lot of effort went into all the minor details here.
Cozy little spot on the corner, the ambiance is a sweet stop to break some bread on the patio with friends.
The focaccia is great, especially dipping into the tasty tomato soup.
The smoked turkey sandwich was good and light tasting. The whipped ricotta was just okay.
For dessert we got the espresso gelato which was frosted over and the torte cake. The torte had too much orange zest and very dry. They both looked better than they were.
Due is such a fun place to go. They have great cocktails and their sandwiches are super yummy. We hung out there and did some work and it was cozy and the wifi worked well. The staff is great too!
I was excited to try this place after learning about it. Not only was the food amazing, but I was really digging the overall design of the space too. I ordered the prosciutto focaccia sandwich and a scoop of espresso gelato. Let me say that every bite of this sandwich was just as good as the last. The bread was soft, lightly salted on top, and had a nice chew to it. The ingredients were consistent in each bite and the tomato conserva had an interesting tang to it. I had intended on only getting the sandwich, but when I saw that they made their gelato in house, I figured it was worth trying too. The consistency wasn't as smooth as other gelatos I have had but the espresso flavor came through nicely. I could definitely see myself frequenting this spot more often!
Vibes! Very cute. Small delicious menu. (Lots of grab to go or cook at home options.) Service was fine!! (You order via the toast app to you table so you don’t interact with folks much.)
My rating is a 3 because the seating is not very fat friendly. Small and not-super-stable stools at the high tops, wooden chairs that were not that comfortable, and one small bench. Not great for folks in larger bodies.
I’ll have to come back in the summer! I hope the outdoor picnic tables feel more comfortable.
This place has the best sandwiches! I always get the carne and it never disappoints. Grab a con oil or a pistachio chocolate chip cookie and you’ve got one of the best quick meals in the twin cities! Service is usually fast and the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming.
This is such a cute spot, and the food is wonderful. The staff are also very pleasant and seem to have fun at work. Definitely worth a visit or five!!!
